With all eyes on the current Casual Dining market, surmising an over saturated market and soulless “mass produced” designs, Design at Source were tasked with creating a breath of fresh air into Rosie’s Diner, a family orientated, American Diner Brand.
Now into it’s second site, Design at Source avoided the cold, black and white American Diner cliches of the past, developing a fully fledged Brand from the ground up. The design combined red leather, reeded glass, industrial pendants, steelwork and exposed brick to create a soulful fusion of Americana and industrial chic.
Focal to the scheme, is the iconic American yellow school bus, converted to form a party room. The bus was imported from the States and restored, complete with working lights. To get the bus into position, the entire shop front had to be removed and the bus moved in by hand! Other talking points were dispersed around the venue, with a giant, sit-up bar and a genuine 1950’s space rocket, from a fun fare ride, suspended from the double height ceiling.
A mix of booth and loose seating creates a flexible space for groups of all sizes.
Design at Source developed a turn key solution, helping the client every step of the way.
Our expertise in operational mechanics produced a plan that has provided a dynamic space, helping the Client to deliver slick service and theatre to the customer!
