Designed to attract weary shoppers from the busy Resorts World shopping mall, Design at Source has created a bar lounge brand, that excudes an Art Deco style, with a contemporary twist.
As a result, an aspirational bar has been created that captures the essence of New York, offering everything from Cocktails, Prohibition Teas, to fine New York inspired food.
A forest of internally illuminated, columns grow from the perimeter of a floor void, housing escalators, that carry hotel guests from the reception, up to the first floor, leisure space. These illuminated columns create an eye-catching screen that not only attracts guests to the bar, but also shields customers from the bustling mall area.
The large, back bar creates a true focal point to the space. A classic art-deco image is fragmented by angled mirror. The result creates an image that seems to move as would-be, customers pass by, enticing them into the lounge bar.
The front bar, clad in cream polished stone provides an elegent highlight, reflected by the marble effect flooring.
Pools of be-spoke carpet inlays, provide welcoming areas for leather-clad seating booths, while antique mirror, table tops reflect ceiling rings, hanging from gold, illuminated ceiling coffers.
The design team created a large external terrace, to compliement the lounge bar. A terrace that boasts its own external bar.
The bar, with its brise soleil roof, provides a centre piece to the terrace, surrounded by seating bays, that wrap around individual fire-pits. Elegant floor lights are located between faux, box hedges, dividing the terrace into intimate seating zones. The result, is an external environment that matches the sophistication of the interior.
