Caesars Entertainment approached Design at Source to develop and implement the design of Caesars Cairo, a prestigious casino situated in the luxurious Four Seasons First Residence Hotel, located on the Nile’s west bank. Situated in a space, formerly used as a Functions suite, this new casino incorporates a bar, slots area, table gaming and a Salle Privée, together with new toilets and back of house areas.
Design at Source took some of the iconic design cues associated with the world-renowned Caesars Palace and subtly, tanslated these to suite the requirements of the Egyptian market.
From the cool surroundings of the marbled reception, guests move into the opulent gaming area. The casino bar acts as a grand back drop, with an illuminated, Caesars logo taking centre stage. Antique mirror, either side of the back bar, reflects gold leaf panelling framing the ceiling above. As the guest moves into the gaming area, they are confronted by bespoke, printed leather, panelling contrasted by a contemporary black and gold leaf screens, delineating the slots area.
The Salle Privée presents a more traditional approach, with a warm, rich, timber interior, and heavily panelled bar.
The opulent style was brought through to the rest rooms, with gold sinks and taps, set against cream, timber panelled walls, with black marble floors.
Attention to detail meant that even the loose furniture and light fittings were designed and commissioned by Design at Source, while artwork was individually chosen by the team.
